The Dissonant Tour & Silverstein/Senses Fail: Co-Headline Fall Tour
Thanksgiving
weekend my friend Melissa, her husband John and I had a little
concert weekend. On Friday the 27th we drove up to Pomona The Glass House, to see Hands Likes Houses
first headlining tour. They brought
out Too Close to Touch
, Brigades
and I the Mighty
with them on The Dissonant Tour. I wasn't a fan of the first two bands but I really dug I
the Mighty. I'm going to give them more of a listen. Hand like Houses
were great as always. They played a ton of songs and even added 4 songs to the
end of their set because it was the last day. I saw HLH for the first
time about 3 years ago where they were the first opening band and to now
I'm seeing them headlining their own tour. I love being there for band
beginning and seeing them grow. I can see HLH going places. I have a
feeling a lot of people will be talking about their next album. I'm
excited to see there they go and wish them nothing but the best!
The next day, the 28th we headed up to The Observatory in Santa Ana to see Silverstein
and Senses Fail
. We got there just in time to see Silverstein play. Since we got there late I wasn't able to get into the pit area which was a total bummer. The layout of the Observatory sucks, but anyways I adore Silverstein. This was my third time seeing them this year, and they just keep getting better. My favorite part of their shows is singing My Heroine at the top of my lungs. I love seeing the smiles on the band's faces when everyone is singing the song to them. They always seem like a band that is still having fun at every show. Senses Fail, as like Silverstein, I have been listening to them for over 10 years and their stage show keeps getting better as well. I love Buddy's stage performance is the best! He runs around the stage non-stop, doing toe touches and somersault. I hadn't listen to Senses Fail's newest album much but from what I heard at the show it's great. The highlight of Senses Fail's set is them playing Lady in the Blue Dress. I love that song and never hear it live before. Over all the show was great and I will never get tired of seeing Silverstein and Senses Fail live! They have a few dates left of this tour, go check them out! For tickets click here.
